Frequently Asked Questions

Honest answers about sovereign AI for regulated organizations.

Is this HIPAA compliant?

No tool or consultant can make an organization "HIPAA compliant." We design and deploy in-house, air-gapped AI systems that remove cloud-vendor risk and support your HIPAA compliance program. Compliance remains your organization's responsibility, working with your legal and compliance advisors.

What hardware do we need?

It depends on team size and workload. A small practice may use a single high-memory GPU workstation. Larger organizations use a dedicated server or rack. We provide procurement guidance tailored to your environment; we do not resell hardware.

Does it work with our EHR?

The system runs on your local network and can reference documents and templates you export from your EHR or document management system. We do not require direct EHR integration, and we do not pull live patient data into the AI server.

Do you sign BAAs?

We do not process your data in the cloud, so a Business Associate Agreement for AI processing is not required for the systems we deploy. We can sign a standard consulting agreement that defines confidentiality and responsibilities.

What happens when AI models improve?

Models update on your schedule, not automatically. We document the update and rollback plan before any change, and we help you evaluate whether a new model is appropriate for your use case.

What does it cost?

Engagements are scoped to your environment. We offer an Assessment Sprint, a Pilot Deployment, and a Full Deployment + Advisory retainer. Contact us for a tailored proposal.

Can we start small?

Yes. Many clients begin with an Assessment Sprint or a single-department pilot to validate the approach before expanding.

What if we already use cloud AI tools?

We can help you identify which workflows should move to a private system and which can stay in the cloud under a proper risk assessment. The goal is a deliberate data-flow strategy, not a rip-and-replace.
