Most AI adoption advice today assumes the cloud is the only option. For a medical practice, clinic, or healthcare-adjacent firm, that assumption creates a serious problem: every prompt that touches patient context becomes a data-flow decision involving business associate agreements, vendor risk assessments, and an expanded breach surface.
I started HIPAASafeAI because the alternative — sovereign, in-house AI — is technically viable but rarely explained well to the people who need it most. My background is in hands-on deployment of private AI systems: selecting hardware, configuring local inference, building retrieval-augmented knowledge bases, and hardening environments so sensitive data never leaves the building.
We do not sell a boxed product that claims to make you compliant. We work alongside your IT and compliance stakeholders to design an architecture that fits your environment, document the data flows for your risk analysis, and train your staff to operate the system safely.
